Led by an Italian-speaking guide, this walk starts at the City Chambers and follows the Royal Mile and narrow closes, with stories of Scottish religion, royalty and the Enlightenment. You view the castle, the Mound and the Grassmarket, then explore Greyfriars stories and Harry Potter connections before returning to the Royal Mile.
Food and drink are not included, and castle interiors are not part of the tour. Departures are at 9:30 AM and 3:30 PM daily, and one reviewer's thirteen-person group enjoyed the guide's help.
