Walsh's

4.7 ·

Pull up a stool at Walsh's, a historic Dublin pub where locals outnumber visitors. Order a pint of Guinness, listen to the neighbourhood chatter, and soak up an authentic old-school atmosphere.

📖

Full description

Walsh's is an old-school Dublin pub that reviewers describe as the real deal: mostly locals, few tourists, and bartenders working in shirts and ties. Visitors rate the Guinness among the best they had in Dublin, and the room suits quiet weekday pints with a crossword as well as busy, noisy Saturday nights.

It opens in the afternoon and runs into the late evening, with a loyal local following giving it a genuine neighbourhood character. Expect a traditional room that can get crowded rather than a polished tourist pub.

Reviews

This was my boyfriend's favourite pub to go and relax after work with a pint and crossword. So it's great for that. But we also went on Saturday and it was pumping and full of great atmosphere. It was clean, drinks are delicious, staff are professional and friendly. Great spot.
