Full description

The Little Museum of Dublin tells the story of how Dubliners' lives changed over the past century, using a collection of personal and everyday artefacts arranged inside a small building. Visits are by guided tour, and reviewers consistently highlight the engaging, humorous guides who explain key events in Irish history and sometimes sing.

Despite its size, visitors describe it as dense with history, character and curiosity, and many call it a highlight of their time in Dublin. A typical visit lasts about an hour.

Booking is recommended, since tours run at set times and the museum is popular.
