Stop by The Day Cafe in Rialto for a spacious, queue-free brunch spot. Order a well-made coffee and a croissant sandwich or breakfast plate, then settle into the open room.
Full description
The Day Cafe in Rialto is a roomy cafe where reviewers say Sunday brunch can be enjoyed without large queues. Coffee is the strongest point, with praise for how well the beans are handled, while food is described as pricey but in line with other brunch places, with bigger portions.
Some reviews are mixed, with a few regulars noting a change since the site reopened under its new name and finding dishes like the breakfast generic. It suits a short, 45-minute stop for coffee and a pastry or sandwich.

Reviews
The location is lovely and spacious enough that you may enjoy Sunday brunch without standing in large queues. We sampled the daddy's breakfast and the croissant sandwich. The first is extremely generic, unremarkable, and an Irish breakfast with less. The croissant is delicious but can be a bit pricey. prompt service.
