Walk through the Irish National War Memorial Gardens, a quiet Lutyens-designed memorial to Irish soldiers lost in the First World War. Pause among the formal plantings and, in spring, the cherry blossoms.
Full description
The Irish National War Memorial Gardens were designed by Edwin Lutyens and commemorate the 49,400 Irish soldiers who died in the First World War. The elegant, formally laid-out grounds are peaceful and free to enter, and visitors often single them out in cherry blossom season, when the trees put on one of the best displays in Dublin.
The walk itself is short, so most people spend around half an hour, combining quiet reflection with a stroll among the plantings. Parking nearby is described as easy, and the gardens are open at all hours.

A beautiful and peaceful place. A bit too short of a walk though if you’re looking for one, but def a must visit if you’re in the area
