Walk the long, open sands of Dollymount Strand, a favourite for sunrise on Dublin Bay. Stroll the shoreline, watch riders pass by, and stop for coffee halfway along the beach.
Full description
Dollymount Strand is a very long stretch of sand on the north side of Dublin Bay, open at all hours and free to visit. Its wide, flat expanse suits long walks, and visitors mention seeing horse riders and finding razor clam shells along the shore.
Sunrise is a particular draw for photographers when the weather cooperates, and a coffee shop partway along the beach gives a place to pause. The beach gets busier as the morning goes on, and ample parking is available.
A typical visit runs about ninety minutes with a moderate amount of walking.

That was cool. Saw people ride horses there. Found lots of razor clam shells. I've never seen them before
