Escape to Utterslev Mose, a tranquil wetland park on the western edge of Copenhagen. Stroll or cycle past reedy lakes, watch the birdlife along the water, and settle in for a picnic on the grass.
Full description
Utterslev Mose is a sprawling green area in the Brønshøj-Husum district, made up of lakes, reed beds and open meadows on the outskirts of Copenhagen. Reviewers describe it as quiet, peaceful and pleasantly wild, with plenty of birds around the water.
It is big enough for a long walk, a run or a summer picnic, and many people explore it by bike. Open around the clock and free to enter, it suits a relaxed 75-minute loop, with sunsets singled out as a highlight by regular visitors.
