📖

Full description

Ørstedsparken is a small, well-kept park in Indre By, right by Nørreport station, built around a central lake where ducks swim. Paths wind around the water and through lawns where locals relax on the grass, and the park also holds a children's playground with slides, swings, a sandpit and pedal go-karts.

Reviewers call it a calm oasis in the heart of the city and make a point of walking through it whenever they are nearby. Free and open around the clock, it fits a short 30-minute stop between sights.

Reviews

Ørstedsparken is a beautiful park close to Nørreport station. I make it a point to walk through this park when I'm in the vicinity. There are several trails that take you around and through the park. The park is full of statues and a bridge that goes across the pond.
