📖

Full description

Royal Copenhagen is the brand's flagship in Indre By, set in a historic building that once served as a mayor's house and survived the great fire; reviewers point visitors to the back yard, where the mayor's name can still be seen. Inside, shelves hold current designs while an upstairs area displays walls of plates and an on-site museum of earlier collections.

Staff are described as friendly and happy to explain how the porcelain is made, which makes the visit worthwhile even for those not planning to buy.

Reviews

The building used to be the mayor’s house in old ages that also survived the great fire. Check the back yard, you will see his name. Inspiring definitely. You may not buy as a tourist/social traveler but you will be definitely inspired. Nice staff also .
