Take a short ride north to Hellerup Strand, a local favourite beach close to the heart of Copenhagen. Stroll the shoreline, watch swimmers leap from the bridge, and linger for the sunset with a warm coffee.
Full description
Hellerup Strand is a small public beach in the Hellerup district, close enough to the centre that locals treat it as an everyday waterfront rather than a day trip. The water is shallow, and reviewers note a bridge edge with roughly 1.5 metres of depth where swimmers like to jump in.
It is open around the clock and free to use, with a calm, local atmosphere in sunny weather and a busier crowd when winter bathers arrive for ice baths. Several coffee shops sit about five minutes away, which suits a relaxed two-hour stay or an evening walk at sunset.

Reviews
Very good beach, if anyone is wondering if its deep, its not that deep. At the edge of the bridge its like 1.5 meters, very fun place to jump from and the reason im giving 4 stars, it needs cleaner changing rooms/toilets
