Spend the day at Experimentarium in Hellerup, a science centre built for touching and testing. Try the interactive exhibits, catch a live demonstration, and let the kids burn off energy on the rooftop playground.
Full description
Experimentarium is Copenhagen's large interactive science centre, spread across multiple levels of exhibits where visitors touch, build and test ideas rather than simply read about them. Themes include transport, the human body and water play, and there are live demonstrations and a rooftop playground.
Parents report children staying engaged from morning to closing time, and some suggest allowing four to five hours to cover everything. A canteen is on site, and picnic areas are available for those who prefer to bring their own food.
It is best suited to families with young children, though adults enjoy the experiments too.

Food was lovely. I wish I had gone there a bit earlier and I would have had more time in my hand. It was such fun even for…
