Ferris Wheel of Budapest

4.5 ·

Ride the Ferris Wheel of Budapest, a giant wheel in a central park. Rise above the rooftops and watch the Danube and city skyline open up over several slow rotations.

📖

Full description

The Ferris Wheel of Budapest stands in a public park in the V. district and gives panoramic views over the city centre and the Danube. A ride lasts about ten minutes and completes four to six rotations, which leaves time for photos and video.

Reviewers say the views are good on clear days, when you can pick out landmarks along the river. Tickets are described as somewhat pricey for the length of the ride, but many see it as a worthwhile one-time experience.

It works best around sunset or early evening, and the visit itself is short.

Reviews

Got beautiful views of the city from above. A bit pricey (about 12-13 euros), but you know, it's a one time experience so it was fine. It lasted about 10 minutes and the wheel completed 4 rounds. Loved it. The staff was also very polite.
