Discover Wittockiana, a hidden museum devoted to books in a brutalist-style building. Browse the collection, ask staff for a tour, and look into the workshops on offer.
Full description
Wittockiana is a museum dedicated to books, set in a modern, brutalist-style building in Woluwe-Saint-Pierre. Reviewers describe a cosy place where the founder's love of his collection comes through, and staff members have given informal guided tours in English.
One visitor notes that it is not strictly a bookbinding museum, with only a small display on the process, so expectations are best set toward books as objects and art. It also runs workshops worth checking in advance.
A visit takes about 45 minutes and suits book lovers wanting something off the usual museum circuit.
