📖

Full description

The Parlamentarium is the European Parliament's visitor centre in Brussels, built around an interactive and creative timeline of how the European Union developed. Free audio guides are offered in many languages, and reviewers say the exhibits work for both adults and children who have studied the relevant history.

Entry is free, but tickets must be booked in advance. Facilities include a cloakroom, restrooms and a souvenir shop.

Plan about 75 minutes to move through the displays at a relaxed pace, making it a useful weatherproof stop in the European Quarter.
