Step through the walls of Parc Tenbosch, a tucked-away green retreat in Ixelles. Follow its hilly paths past mature trees and flower beds, then settle on a bench with a book or a coffee.

📖

Full description

Parc Tenbosch is a walled neighbourhood park of about two hectares in Ixelles, laid out with winding paths, varied trees, flower beds and plenty of benches. Its small hills and enclosed layout create an atmospheric, secluded feel that reviewers describe as a little gem, and the groundskeeping gets repeated praise.

Gated areas keep young children safe, while adults come to read or simply sit in the quiet corners. A visit of around thirty minutes works well as a gentle pause during a stroll through the district.

Reviews

Beautiful local park. Small and atmospheric with many different trees. Well looked after although the reparations of the wall which the park shares with the Indian Embassy are taking forever. I hope they will finish it soon so that we don’t miss the flowering of Magnolia virginiana. That’s another 6 weeks!
