Pause at Jean-Félix Hap Park, a small green haven in the middle of Etterbeek. Circle the pond, rest in the gazebo and settle on a bench with a picnic or a book.
Full description
Jean-Félix Hap Park is a modest green space in the heart of Etterbeek, large enough for a gentle stroll but not for a run. A small pond, a gazebo and plenty of benches give it a calm, neighbourhood feel that reviewers describe as a peaceful haven.
It is a popular choice for picnics and reading, and local residents make up most of the visitors. A visit of around thirty minutes fits comfortably between other plans in the area, and the park keeps daytime opening hours.

Lovely little park in the heart of Etterbeek. It’s big enough to go on a little stroll but not big enough for a run. Ideal for picnics, reading on one of the many benches, and relaxing. It’s a bit of a shame that dogs are not allowed (Saw a cat on a leash there once) but I can see the benefits of that as well.
