Discover Georges Henripark in Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, a green space with a surprising past as a cemetery. Follow paths marked by old tombstones, let children loose on the playground and grab a snack at the kiosk.
Full description
Georges Henripark stands out for its unusual origins: it was laid out over an abandoned cemetery, and tombstones still shape some of its paths. Beyond that curiosity it works as a very practical local park, with a playground, jogging and walking routes, sports facilities and clean public toilets.
A kiosk-style pavilion serves burgers, coffee, small bites and drinks, which keeps families comfortable for a longer stay. It is dog-friendly and mostly frequented by neighbourhood residents, so the atmosphere is relaxed and unhurried, suiting a visit of about forty-five minutes.

Nice little park ideal for families. It has clean public toilets. A major highlight is the "Ganguette" (kiosk/pavilion), where you can grab burgers, coffee, small bites, and drinks like beer and cocktails. Just be careful It closes at 9PM.
