Friterie Tabora

4.1 ·

Stop at Friterie Tabora, the central Brussels frituur that draws queues at all hours. Order a cone of fries with your sauce of choice and eat it on the go, day or night.

📖

Full description

Friterie Tabora is a small, popular fry shop in central Brussels, serving Belgian fries and a range of sauces from a compact kitchen. Reviewers describe crispy-outside, soft-inside fries but disagree on the hype: some wait more than 30 minutes in line and find the result merely fine, while others call it a classic.

Opening hours are exceptionally long, from morning to 4:00 AM on weekdays and 6:00 AM on Saturdays, which makes it a convenient late-night stop. A visit takes about 20 minutes, queue aside, and it is easy to combine with a stroll through the centre.

Reviews

Fries since 1979, fresh cut and fried frites. Great price only .50 between a medium and large. Large is pretty big and I wouldn't get that again unless with a group. Tons of sauce options, not sure how anyone chooses there are so many! I tried mayonnaise and pilli pilli which was a good combo.
