Nature/outdoor
Strandbad Wannsee is a long-established public lido on Lake Wannsee, operated by Berlin's public baths authority and known for its wide sandy beach, changing cabins, and classic lido atmosphere rather than a wild or natural swimming spot. Reviewers compare it favorably to other city swimming options but note it can feel pricey, with combined entry and parking fees adding up for a short visit. A 4.1 rating and mid-range price level reflect a solid, if not exceptional, experience for a paid city beach.

What people say
"We tried 5 of the accesible city swimming spots in all - some Lido's with umbrellas, some more wild forest lakes - and we walked to this place after a morning at Schlatensee. It was mid week in June - full of small kids, as its so busy the water was cloudy and topped with seaweed/algae. It went to the bottom of our list quite quickly and we didnt stay long. The little cabin/beds are cute and offer shade - just so many better options out there!"
