Food
Il Casolare turns out straightforward, well-executed pizza with a thin, crisp crust that reviewers consistently praise, alongside a tiramisu good enough that regulars bring visiting friends specifically for it. Service can slow down with larger groups, but the food itself draws steady, affordable praise at a 4.2 rating across 2,853 reviews. Its mid-range price and lack of pretension fit a casual dinner rather than a special occasion, and its moderate scores across the board reflect a solid, well-liked neighbourhood pizzeria. It's an easy, dependable choice for an evening pizza with friends.

What people say
"The pizza is tasty. Thin dough and crisp from the oven. We ordered with a bigger crowd but the food came quickly once ordered which took a while but still alright. Keep in mind that you can only pay by cash here. In terms of atmosphere the interior features many marker tags and posters. Could be cosy in a smaller group but there is a little echo in the room which makes it a bit harder to talk if you would talk to someone across the table. Service was alright. Overall friendly but sometimes a bit too casual: making a joke that they only have two types of wine red or white. Overall I like the food and would come back in summer to enjoy the pizza outside."
