Full description

This grand villa on the shores of the Wannsee lake is preserved almost exactly as it stood when fifteen Nazi officials gathered here to coordinate the deportation and murder of Europe's Jews. The permanent exhibition uses the original conference room and surrounding rooms to lay out the bureaucratic machinery behind the genocide in unflinching, document-based detail, while the lakeside grounds outside offer a jarring contrast of calm.

Reviewers consistently describe the visit as sobering rather than easy, with a 4.6 rating across nearly 3,500 reviews reflecting its power as a place of historical reckoning rather than casual sightseeing. It's essential for anyone seriously engaging with Berlin's twentieth-century history.

Reviews

For me it was spinechilling to walk around the mansion where the famous conference was held. The park and the mansion is very attractive inside there is an exhibit with a lot of documents, photos. Upstairs you can find a huge library with a lot of books on holocaust. I would definitely suggest visiting this place.…
