Parc de la Creueta del Coll

4.2 (5,149)Free

Parc de la Creueta del Coll was carved out of an old quarry in Gràcia and centers on an artificial lake that doubles as a public swimming pool in summer, overlooked by Eduardo Chillida's massive suspended sculpture Elogi de l'aigua. The combination of dramatic rock walls, a lookout point, and the unusual swimming feature gives it a distinct identity among Barcelona's parks, even if the pool is sometimes closed for repairs. A 4.2 rating suggests visitors generally leave impressed, even when the swimming facilities aren't fully operational.

What people say

"I really like this park. It has a small pond that acts as a swimming pool, especially for children and, although it is currently under repair, when it works normally it enjoys a large influx. It has a children's play area and two tables to play table tennis, as well as a picnic area and a small bar where you can have a snack and tapas. In addition, if you go up its side area, it has several paths with benches to sit and from there you can access the mountain and see the park from above. I like it because it is large and optimal for both families and couples who want to walk or have a drink and hang out or meet friends. A simple but beautiful park in the heart of city."
