What people say

"The place has a cosy, slightly quirky setting that fits naturally into the narrow streets of El Born. The menu mixes familiar Catalan tapas with more creative combinations, while keeping the focus on seasonal, market-led ingredients. We enjoyed everything we ordered, but the mushroom salad was easily our favourite — mushrooms with shiso and wasabi sauce, an unusual combination that worked extremely well. The artichokes with romesco were also very good, as were the clams and the other dishes we shared. The cooking feels thoughtful without trying to make tapas unnecessarily complicated. The mushroom salad is actually one of the dishes the restaurant itself highlights on its menu. The staff were knowledgeable, friendly and comfortable speaking English, which made ordering and choosing wine straightforward. The restaurant is quite small and clearly popular, so booking ahead is a good idea. We arrived without a reservation and had to wait around an hour for a table. A very enjoyable lunch and a place I would return to, especially for that mushroom salad."
