Full description

This full-day small-group trip departs Athens at around 7:30 and passes through Arachova before giving about two hours at Delphi's archaeological site and museum, explored independently with a printed book guide. After a restaurant stop for lunch, the vehicle climbs Mount Parnassus on an uneven road to the Corycian Cave, where a guide explains the site.

The final stop is the Thermopylae battlefield and Leonidas monument. Water and soda are included.

Reviewers enjoy the unusual itinerary and background stories, but the bumpy approach and extra walk to the cave suit only reasonably mobile visitors.

Reviews

Megan – United Kingdom | October 1, 2026 Megan loved the unusual itinerary, small group and independent Delphi time. The cave approach was extremely bumpy and narrow, with a further walk unsuitable for some mobility limitations.
