The Crystal Maze LIVE Experience translates the cult television format into a physical team game, moving groups through Aztec, futuristic, medieval and industrial zones to complete puzzles and challenges for crystals. Nostalgia plays a real role in its appeal, with reviewers comparing it favorably to the original show despite the absence of its famous host. A 4.6 rating and a local_score of 36 alongside a trendy_score of 64 suggest it draws both nostalgic Britons and visitors after a competitive, playful team activity. It suits groups wanting an active, game-show-style experience over a passive show.

What people say
"This amazing experience was as close to the tv series of old as you're ever gonna get, minus the charismatic Richard O'Brien ofcourse. You start with a group of an even 8, made up of either strangers or family and friends, if you have enough members that is. We played 2 games in 5 zones ranging between 2-3 mins long. Choose from a selection of 4 themed challenges: mental, physical, skill and mystery. Pick your group member to take on the challenge. Crack the games and win a crystal. Each crystal amounts to 5 seconds in the final which is played at the end in the famous crystal dome. Once in there, all members must collect as many gold and silver tickets within the time limit. Then you wrap things up with an iconic photo infront of the famous crystal dome! Overall it was exhilarating, nostalgic and so much fun. Would highly recommend!"
