Cutty Sark

4.6 (23,249)$$$ · Expensive

The Cutty Sark is a genuine survivor: built in 1869 as one of the fastest tea clippers of its era, it now sits dry-docked in Greenwich, fully restored and open for visitors to walk its decks and explore below, including a viewing area beneath the hull. A high must-see score and strong rating across tens of thousands of reviews confirm it as a proper Greenwich landmark rather than a niche maritime curiosity, popular with families for its interactive, climb-aboard nature. Its expensive ticket price reflects the cost of maintaining a historic ship as a visitor attraction. At 75 minutes, it combines naturally with the nearby National Maritime Museum and Royal Observatory.

What people say

"This historical ship is a cool experience. It is a fun place to take the family as it has plenty for children to enjoy including dressing up as a ship crew member. There is some amazing views of the ship from the inside and outside and there is also a ride just outside with some nice shops and a great food market near by too."
