Landmark
Galerie Véro-Dodat dates to 1826 and retains much of its original Restoration-era decor, including a striking black-and-white checkerboard floor and painted ceiling panels. It's quieter than some of the other covered passages, making it a pleasant, uncrowded stop between the Louvre and Les Halles.
