Paloma

3.9 (630)$$ · Mid-range

Paloma keeps things efficient for late-night drinks in Kreuzberg, with staff generally quick and responsive at the bar and an open terrace upstairs for those wanting some air. It functions more as a late-night stop within a bigger night out than a destination in its own right. Door policy has drawn some criticism in reviews, with a few visitors reporting an unwelcoming reception when trying to get in. No reservation is available, so timing your arrival matters more than planning ahead.

✨ Reasons to go

  • 1Upstairs terrace open for smoking and air away from the main room
  • 2Plays disco and house rather than the techno typical of Berlin clubs

💡 Good to know

  • 1No reservation available — arrive and expect to queue depending on the night
  • 2be prepared for a selective door policy
  • 3head for the upstairs terrace if you want a break from the main room

What people say

"The bar is quick and easy when it comes to getting drinks, and the staff are responsive and easy to reach if you need anything. There’s also an open terrace upstairs where smoking is allowed, which is a nice option. However, the overall experience was disappointing. The music didn’t create a good vibe, and the space feels quite cramped, making it hard to enjoy the night comfortably. There is a €12.50 entrance fee, which doesn’t really match the experience offered. With better music and a more comfortable layout, it could be a much more enjoyable place."
