Chiltern Firehouse

4.2 (2,908)$$$$ · Premium

Set inside a beautifully restored 19th-century firehouse in Marylebone, Chiltern Firehouse built its reputation on celebrity sightings and a glamorous room as much as its food, and reviews here reflect that mixed legacy. Group dinners get generally positive marks, with reviewers on a trip with friends describing an overall good time despite high expectations from the hype, while other visitors report considerably less patient service and steep prices for what arrived. Its 4.2 rating from nearly 3,000 reviews and very high trendy score suggest it remains a draw regardless, particularly for those wanting to see and be seen. Premium pricing and required booking mark it firmly as an occasion restaurant rather than an easy weeknight choice.

What people say

"We had dinner with a party of 8 friends while on vacation and overall, we had a good time. There was a lot of hype around this restaurant, so expectations were high. The service was good but not great. The food, however, was delicious (everyone loved the chicken dish) so it made up for any lapse in attentive service. I would recommend eating here if in London."
