"2021 edit: it's still an awesome experience, but this year they spiced things up by mixing free viewings and paid ones (each ticket is only € 6,00). 📽️ I still highly recommend coming here to live the experience of outdoor movies! Watching a movie, in original language, in this outdoor movie theater was an experience I can't wait to relive! You could compare it to "Il Cinema in Piazza" (Piazza S. Cosimato, Ostia, Cervelletta) but this event is just top notch because of the location and architecture. The tickets are free, but you can't reserve a spot in advance, so I highly recommend being punctual because there are only 154 seats available. Social-distancing is respected and enforced, by having chairs fixed to the ground in a sequence of "a pair" + "single" seating. The movies are projected in original language with Italian subtitles (I adore this!), and the screening calendar is very promising. For an after-movies-drink-n-food, in the same spot there's The India Bar which offers alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and pitas! The prices are reasonable. Don't miss out!!"
