"I turned up without a booking just after 5:30pm opening and they managed to squeeze me in. It seems to get pretty busy around 6 pm, so come early if you don’t have a booking. The view is perhaps a little more difficult to see than the photos might suggest. Unless you have one of the few outdoor tables that looks along the balcony, the indoor tables have much more of a rooftop view. You can stand up and walk around and take photos, but from your table, don’t expect to see too much. Spritz cocktails were about €12, which doesn’t seem too outrageous for the location. I ordered a fried zucchini flower, however the batter was super thick and it was a bit difficult for me to tell if there was actually any zucchini flower inside it or not! There was certainly mozzarella; that dripped everywhere. At twilight however, with the atmosphere and light in Rome, none of that mattered. It was just wonderful to be sitting outside, soaking up the atmosphere and the sunshine, in a calm location, drinking a spritz and generally enjoying life. So five stars overall."
