Food
Ristorante le Mani in Pasta has earned real loyalty from at least one long-term visitor who describes returning for seven consecutive years without a single disappointing meal, calling it consistently among the best in Rome. The sea bass carpaccio with truffle draws specific praise, though reviews aren't universally positive — one visitor found a meal of carpaccio, caprese, and seafood pasta underwhelming for the reputation. At 4.4 stars over 2,241 reviews, it sits as a well-established, generally well-regarded Trastevere restaurant with some inconsistency across visits. It's worth trying for the seafood-forward dishes that repeat visitors specifically recommend.

What people say
"We’ve been coming back for 7 years and it has never once disappointed. Always the best meal in Rome. We started with the carpaccio di spigola with truffles: fresh fish that melts in your mouth. Then the squid with artichokes, crunchy and full of flavour, and the linguine with lobster, as good as ever. Some places impress you with the food. Others make you feel at home. Le Mani in Pasta is both. A huge thank you to Filippo and Reginaldo, who always welcome us with warmth and humour, and congratulations to owner and chef Iviano Piras, whose passion shows in every plate. My favourite restaurant in Rome, every single time. Grazie di cuore, Filippo, Reginaldo e Iviano. Ci fate sentire sempre a casa. ❤️🍝🇮🇹"
