Food
Caelis, led by chef Romain Fornell, delivers fine-dining execution at a comparatively accessible lunch price point, with reviewers repeatedly flagging the roughly 65-euro midday menu as one of the best-value tasting experiences in the city. At 4.5 stars from nearly 1,500 reviews and a must-see score of 91, it has built a reputation that goes beyond special-occasion dinners into a genuine daytime destination. The evening tasting menus push further into celebratory territory, with birthday diners describing the room as an art form in itself. It works equally well as an ambitious lunch stop or a full evening event.

What people say
"Amazing lunch experience at Caelis. The lunch menu is 65β¬ and honestly, I think itβs worth every penny. It includes a starter, main, dessert, water and coffee, with the option to upgrade to the premium menu for +15β¬ with wine pairing and an extra dish. Everything felt refined, balanced and thoughtful without being too much. The highlights for me were the vermouth sphere, the beetroot gazpacho with burrata pearls and smoked sardine, and the squid risotto with crispy langoustines and emulsified nantua. The whole lunch lasted around 3 hours, the service was lovely, and it felt like a real Michelin-star experience while still being warm and enjoyable. 100% recommended.
