Drinks
The Donovan Bar sits within Brown's Hotel on Albemarle Street and takes its name and photographic decor from Terence Donovan, one of the leading British photographers of the 1960s. Cocktails here have been shaped by well-known bartenders associated with the hotel, giving the room a classic, relaxed elegance that reviewers describe as classy without being stiff. It's well suited to both a small group outing and an intimate pre-dinner drink.

"This truly is an amazing bar. We walked in as a group of 6 without a reservation and the team was very accommodating and put two tables next to each other for us. The drinks are amazing. We tried the margarita blush, champagne a pois, tarte old fashioned, pornstar sgroppino, and that blue drink that changes colors. All the drinks were expertly made. What truly made the Donovan stand out to me as one the best bars Ive ever been to was the speed at which the drinks were coming. And Im talking highly technical/elaborate cocktails. The bar is not small and there were a lot of customers, yet the drinks kept coming out without long wait times. This was highly appreciated. Typically when you go to a place that makes serious drinks like this, orders take time, rightly so. The vibe is extremely extremely posh. So dont come underdressed like we did."
