"The guided tour of Tempelhof was a really great experience and definitely worth doing. The tour lasted around 2 hours, and throughout the walk you get to explore parts of this massive, monumental building while learning so much about its fascinating and complex history. What makes Tempelhof so impressive is not just its historical importance, but also its sheer size. Walking through it in person really gives you a sense of how enormous and architecturally significant the place is. The scale of the building is honestly hard to grasp until youâre inside it, it feels almost like a small city in itself. The guide made the experience even better by sharing interesting stories and historical context about the airportâs past, from its role in aviation history to its connection to major events in Berlinâs history. It was both informative and atmospheric, and it gave a much deeper appreciation for the site beyond what you see from the outside. Overall I really enjoyed it.
