"Starting with the positives - the coffee here is really good. The prices here are on the high side £4.20 for a flat white, latte or cappuccino. The pastries are not cheap at £4.30 for a croissant. The staff did explain the pricing and justification and actually that was helpful. Wholesale coffee prices have been rising The service is fine but watch out for the attempt to try to charge you a service charge/tip on top of the drinks prices!! Never in London have I seen a coffee shop that has requested to add a tip onto a coffee. There is a small number of companies in London that seem to do this to try and rinse as much money from tourists who come to London as possible. Only a tourist would consider paying a tip for ordering a coffee in coffee shop where there is actually no service element involved apart from taking your order from a counter, and you have to pick up the coffee yourself. It feels cheeky. Having said that, if you are wanting a good coffee, then their coffee is really good."
