Oslo Court Restaurant

4.7 (963)$$$ · Expensive

Oslo Court has built a devoted following over decades for a resolutely old-fashioned approach, retro décor, tableside theatrics, and a menu of classic French dishes, that reviewers say more than lives up to its considerable reputation. One visitor who arrived deliberately sceptical, having heard so much hype, still came away won over. The restaurant's service is particularly well suited to larger groups, with staff described as calm and efficient even under pressure, though a few reviewers note portions run more modest than expected. At 4.7 from 963 reviews and expensive pricing, it draws a loyal, often older clientele and works especially well for celebratory group meals and family gatherings.

What people say

"Gotta say it’s bloody amazing. I went in quite critical because of the amazing things I’ve heard, I wanted to hold it to high standards but as soon as we were sat we were given crudités and toast with creamy butter and a menu for starters. The decor is beautiful and the service is nothing short of perfect. We felt rushed at first but they just wanted to get us food which I really appreciated. It’s just simple food done really well with amazing ingredients. Slightly pricey but it’s definitely worth it, especially for like the 6 different courses (or sections of food). I will be coming back. They did a lovely thing for my mums bday aswell. This is what happens when you build something amazing, original and special. Such a great experience"
