The Ledbury

4.7 (1,714)$$$$ · Premium

The Ledbury has built its reputation on precise, produce-driven modern European cooking served in an elegant but unstuffy dining room, and the review pattern is striking: birthday after birthday, anniversary after anniversary, described as genuinely unforgettable. At 4.7 stars and premium pricing, it's firmly in special-occasion territory, with a tasting-menu format built around leisurely two-hour-plus dinners rather than a quick meal. Its high must-see score reflects a reputation that extends well beyond London's food scene, making it a genuine destination rather than just a good local option. It suits couples marking something significant more than a casual weeknight dinner.

What people say

"What can I say, an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. Having recently celebrated my 40th birthday, I can't think of a more special way to mark the occasion than lunch at The Ledbury. The food was extraordinary, with every course beautifully executed and showcasing some of the finest ingredients I've ever had the pleasure of tasting. What truly made the experience unforgettable, however, was the hospitality. Every member of staff made us feel genuinely welcome and created an atmosphere that was both relaxed and incredibly special. A special thank you to Jack, the General Manager, whose warmth, professionalism and attention to detail made the day even more memorable - as did every member of the team! Sharing such a wonderful experience with close friends made it all the more meaningful, and it is a day I will treasure forever. Everyone should visit The Ledbury at least once – it is quite simply one of the most remarkable dining experiences I have ever had. Feeling very grateful!"
