Coffeebreak
Verlet has roasted single-origin coffees and blended teas since 1880. Its tasting salon offers a chance to sample the house coffees and teas alongside breakfast fare, in a setting tied to the shop's long history as a Parisian roastery. What people say
"Really nice little cafe, went for a late breakfast and arrived right when they opened. All the tables were full within 15 mins on a Friday morning. We had two lattes which were so very good and some of the best we've had. The food was also solid, the pain au chocolat was very airy and flakey, although it seems like they only had three or so available because they ran out after we ordered two. The toast with cream cheese and salmon was also very good. The cafe has a great atmosphere, very reminiscent of an old cafe with the vibes and the smell, really liked it. Service was good, there was only really one person servicing the tables and there were definitely too many people for only one server, but food and drink came out quickly and we didn't have any issues."
