Antico Forno Roscioli

4.5 (7,807)$ · Budget-friendly

Antico Forno Roscioli operates as a proper Roman forno, part bakery, part pizza-by-the-slice counter, a few steps from Campo de' Fiori, and its pizza has built enough of a following that reviewers describe deliberately coming back a second time during the same trip. Multiple varieties are on offer and can be cut to whatever size you like, letting diners sample a few different toppings without committing to a full slice of each. At 4.5 from nearly 7,800 reviews and a near-maximum must-see score, it stands as one of Rome's most reliable quick bites, ideal for a fast, filling lunch between sightseeing rather than a sit-down meal.

What people say

"We ended up coming here twice during our trip because the pizza is simply that good. It’s super tasty, very filling, and I love that you can try a few different varieties and flavors in one visit. The only small heads-up is about the outdoor seating area. It naturally attracts a lot of local birds (and honestly, I can’t blame them, the food is great!). You do have to constantly guard your food, and definitely look up before choosing a spot - a pigeon sitting right above our table managed to leave us a little souvenir on our clothes! Despite the bird situation, the pizza is 100% worth a visit. Just be mindful of where you sit!"
