Cocina Hermanos Torres

4.7 (1,693)$$$$ · Premium

Cocina Hermanos Torres puts its kitchen on full display, letting the Torres brothers' large team work in view of diners through a long tasting menu that reviewers with fine-dining experience single out for its exceptional coordination. At 4.7 stars from close to 1,700 reviews and a must-see score of 91, it ranks among Barcelona's most acclaimed restaurants, with high aesthetic and trendy scores reflecting its polished, contemporary presentation. Set apart from the Eixample cluster of tasting-menu restaurants in the residential Les Corts district, it rewards travellers willing to make a special trip. Expect a long, immersive evening or lunch built around watching the kitchen at work.

✨ Reasons to go

  • 1Run by twin chef brothers Sergio and Javier Torres, holding three Michelin stars
  • 2The dining room is built entirely around an open kitchen so guests watch the full brigade cook the tasting menu in real time
  • 3Located in residential Les Corts rather than Barcelona's usual Eixample fine-dining cluster

💡 Good to know

  • 1Reserve well ahead given its reputation
  • 2ask for a seat near the open kitchen if you want to watch the team in action
  • 3block out a few hours, as the tasting menu is not a quick meal

What people say

"The difference between one and three Michelin stars is clear here. Having extensive experience in fine dining, I can say the teamwork at Cocina Hermanos Torres is exceptional. You feel fully immersed in a refined yet friendly and respectful atmosphere that never feels uptight. The open industrial kitchen concept is brilliant, and the chef personally welcoming us to his home was a wonderful touch. Every detail, from the glasswork to the lighting and the artistic composition of the high quality ingredients, was perfect. They are also incredibly flexible with allergies and dietary needs, making us feel welcome from the start. We paid around 750 euros for two people without alcohol. While it is an investment, it is worth it for such a memory. My only suggestion would be to offer a structured non alcoholic wine pairing or more options for those who only want a glass or two rather than a full bottle. We enjoyed a couple of nice kombuchas, but a curated pairing would elevate the experience for non drinkers. Bravo to the entire team. We will be back."
