Food
Mountain brings open-fire, ember-driven cooking to a Beak Street address in Soho, turning out char-forward dishes that reviewers say pack far more flavour than the ingredient list suggests, the wild mushrooms and especially the wood-fired rice come up again and again as highlights. At 4.4 from nearly 1,500 reviews and a very high trendy score, it's clearly one of the buzzier tables in the area right now, the kind of place people book for a birthday and come away feeling treated like guests of honour. The premium pricing and required booking put it in destination-dinner territory rather than a casual bite, and its evening-only slots suggest it's best enjoyed unhurried.

What people say
"The food was really good. I really enjoyed the wild mushrooms. The wood fired rice is a must order. Amazing how much flavor they put in the rice, and the crispy top was incredible. The beef short rib was pretty standard. The starters were good. Server was friendly and took time to explain. The atmosphere was loud and the seats are very tight."
