"Great venue, atmosphere, staff and guests. We were there on Friday and Saturday for ‘Forever 25’ – on Friday as part of a group (sensible and very considerate adults), and on Saturday just the two of us as a couple. The only downside (and therefore four stars): The young doorman, who clearly wants to make a name for himself and isn’t particularly friendly to the guests, who, on the other hand, are friendly and keen to get in. He was at the entrance on both evenings. Friday, 11.15 pm, three other guests ahead of us at the entrance, no one else. “How many of you are there?” – “Seven of us.” “Do you have tickets?” – “Yes.” “Right, you’ll have to wait for now, and there are six of you!” (No, there aren’t… – but we didn’t want to argue). One of our group later told me exactly how unprofessional he found this attitude. Saturday: a bit later than Friday a few more people at the entrance. My partner walks slowly towards him, takes a mobile phone sticker and covers the camera. Apparently, she’d accidentally taken just one sticker instead of two. “You have to cover the front and back.” She walks back slowly to do that. “No, you go right back – this is my area!” Conclusion: once you’ve got past that guy, it gets really lovely!"
