Piccolo Buco (NO PRENOTAZIONI-NO RESERVATIONS)

β˜… 4.5 (8,046)$$ Β· Mid-range

Piccolo Buco takes no reservations by design, and reviewers confirm it's worth the resulting wait β€” one calls it among the top three pizzas they've ever had, and the entrance itself is lined with awards and competition titles collected over the past decade. Its very high must-see score paired with a very low hidden-gem score confirms it as a widely known, frequently repeated stop rather than a secret, backed by over 8,000 reviews at 4.5 stars. The lack of booking makes it a flexible, walk-in option for travelers near the Trevi Fountain area. It's best treated as a queue-and-wait experience rather than a planned reservation.

✨ Reasons to go

What people say

"Definitely one of the top 3 pizzas I have ever had. Was a bit skeptical with the line and all, but it was worth the 30 min wait or so.. The crust is perfectly fluffy, chewy and tastes amazing. Normally I would not eat the crust, but this one I finished it all. Only thing is when we left, I saw the line outside much longer, but there were a good 5 or 6 empty tables inside. So they could definitely speed up the line a bit, but probably they think lining up is part of the experience? πŸ˜…"
