What people say

"Our visit to La Casa Di Alfio was a positive experience even though it fell a bit short of being truly delightful. We were a group of four with a toddler, and circumstances led two of us to sit down while the other two had to roam around and entertain the toddler. I recognize this area sees a lot of tourists, but the server seemed to think that this group of two is trying to hoard a table of four (I don't know why anyone would) and insisted we order 4 main course dishes right away (something we would have done anyway), but the tenor of the conversation was disappointing. We ordered the L'Escalope Milanaise d'Alfio, the Gnocchi a la creme de Truffle, the Veggie Pizza, and the Bruschetta(Ail Et Grana Padano). The Milanaise came with linguine pasta in Tomato sauce and a salad. The portion size was great but the pasta and the chicken tasted somewhat bland. The chili oil on the table was a much needed addition and helped add delicious flavor and a spicy kick to the chicken and the pasta. The same was true for the Pizza and Gnocchi. The base flavor tended to be mild, almost bland. The chili oil saved the day! The Virgin Spritz was an incredibly generous pouring, and the Cappuccino was refreshing and sharp (exactly what I needed). All in all, we enjoyed the meal but there was some room for improvement!"
