Bambi

4.7 (994)$$ · Mid-range

Bambi combines the intimate, audiophile atmosphere of a listening bar with a food menu reviewers describe as fun and eclectic, alongside cocktails that mix classics with creative new twists. Portions on the small plates run modest compared to similar restaurants, but the overall combination of food, drinks, and atmosphere clearly resonates, with one reviewer ranking it among London's best meals overall. At 4.7 stars, mid-range pricing, and a strong trendy score, it suits an evening built as much around the vibe and cocktails as the food itself, ideal for couples or small groups looking for something a little different from a standard restaurant. It's an evening destination rather than a daytime stop.

What people say

"Quite a nice atmosphere for a listening bar. Food was good in general, with slightly smaller portions than other similar restaurants. Small plates were all great. And their brown butter is not something you can miss. Having three of the food items in some dishes was made sharing harder. The cabbage sounded quite interesting on the menu; although it wasn't bad it couldn't meet our expectations and didn't feel sophisticated enough. Basque cheesecake was a great way to finish the meal. Staff was amazing and never kept us waiting. Tables and chairs were a little to squeezed into the middle part of the restaurant, made the experience slightly uncomfortable and moving in and out harder. The sound quality is living up to the expectations however I suggest you check their "What's On" page before booking a table as some DJs may not play in your taste."
