"Conveniently and centrally located, the Deutsches Theater had an elegant old‑world façade that made you feel like you’re walking into something special. Inside, the acoustics were wonderful. From our seats, everything sounded clear without feeling too loud or too soft. We caught a German production with rather dramatic set changes, but the subtitling was easy to follow. Equally enjoyable was the food at the theatre's in-house restaurant TamTam, but sadly it is permanently closed. Overall, a great theatre to spend a night out in Berlin."
