Le Cafe du Commerce

4.5 (8,157)$$ · Mid-range

Le Café du Commerce occupies a historic building with a distinctive covered courtyard, spread across several floors connected by walkways. The menu offers traditional brasserie fare, including steaks, seafood, and salads, served in a lively, high-ceilinged setting. Its scale and central open atrium make it a well-known address for group dining in the 15th arrondissement.

✨ Reasons to go

  • 1Housed in a historic building with a covered central atrium spanning multiple floors linked by walkways.
  • 2The open atrium design lets diners on upper floors look down over the lower dining level.
  • 3Known as one of the 15th arrondissement's landmark addresses for large group dining.

💡 Good to know

A reservation isn't strictly necessary (walk-ins have been seated without one), but booking ahead is wise for dinner or weekend visits, especially for a table on the upper floor with the best view of the atrium.

What people say

"Despite not having a reservation, we were seated immediately. The food is good and fairly priced. The panko‑breaded fish and chips were well done, and the fried sea bass fillet was even better. The only drawback is the lack of proper air conditioning — the back room gets very hot and sticky. The house wine was inexpensive, though nothing remarkable. Service is efficient and friendly, making this a pleasant brasserie for a casual meal."
