Museum/arts/culture
The Fashion and Textile Museum runs one focused exhibition at a time rather than maintaining a permanent display, giving each visit a distinct, specialist character built around a particular designer, era, or theme. Its modest review count points to a niche audience, those specifically interested in fashion and costume history, rather than a broad tourist draw, and its moderate hidden-gem score fits a museum best discovered by accident near Borough Market. Reviewers with backgrounds in costume or theater design in particular tend to find real depth here. At around 40 minutes, it's a quick, focused stop rather than a lengthy museum visit.

What people say
"I found this place quite by accident as it is very close to Borough Market. So glad I did. They have one exhibit at a time and the whole place is dedicated to it. In this case it was costuming house that's been so active throughout the last 50 years. Say you was both vintage and current materials and vintage techniques to create amazing. Costumes for Productions that you absolutely know. Nice gift shop at the exit. Now I have a bunch of movies in a list to go back and watch with a new eye."
