Estimar

4.3 (867)$$$$ · Premium

Estimar puts the freshness and quality of its seafood front and centre, with reviewers who love it describing barnacles, langoustine, and grilled red prawn as some of the best they've eaten anywhere. At 4.3 stars from 867 reviews and a must-see score of 75, opinions vary more than at some comparable restaurants — some diners find the quality alone doesn't fully translate into a standout dining experience overall. Its high aesthetic and trendy scores point to a polished, contemporary seafood-focused room rather than a rustic fish shack. It's a solid choice for travellers prioritising seafood quality above all else.

What people say

"Estimar left us with mixed feelings. The quality and freshness of the seafood are undeniably high, but that alone wasn’t enough to make the dining experience memorable. Many of the dishes felt overly simple in both flavor and presentation. Everything was prepared with care and professionalism, yet nothing truly stood out or left a lasting impression. The service was polite and the atmosphere was pleasant, but overall the experience lacked something special. Given the restaurant’s reputation and pricing, we expected a more engaging and memorable culinary experience. In the end, it’s a good restaurant, but not one that would make us want to return or recommend it as a must-visit dining destination in Madrid."
